Rockface Bricks

Rockface bricks became popular in the 1970s and 80s when restoration fever took over and spilled into new builds.

The desire was to emulate a rough texture of aged brick or split stone. At Lincoln Brickworks we can produce Rockface Bricks in any colour in our range. Our bricks match the originals perfectly. This is because we use the same clays, dry pressed or extruded machines and wood fired kilns as the originals. We also split the bricks face on an original machine from that era.
